Welcome to my blog
Hello!
You’re reading the first post of my brand new blog. I’ve wanted to blog for ages, but I didn’t consider it appropriate to maintain a blog while in my former position as Green Party press secretary, as my personal opinions would inevitably have been mistaken for official party policy and strategy.
I’m still struggling to develop this blog’s appearance to my liking (and I’m beginning to suspect that my html knowledge may not be up to snuff), but you can expect it to look much prettier soon. As for content, I plan to write mostly about Green Party policy and strategy, Canadian politics, the various environmental crises we face, and animal issues. But my interests extend far beyond these topics, so you may also encounter some musings on food (I love food and related issues), current affairs (I’m a news junkie), and what’s up in my community (I try to stay involved). You can find out more about me on the aptly-named About Me page.
I envision this blog as a space for thoughtful analysis and commentary on political issues and strategy from a Green perspective. I’m also hoping to encourage more Greens to put pen to paper (or, I guess, fingers to keyboard) and enter the national political dialogue. I’m excited to finally join the Canadian political blogosphere and am looking forward to being an active contributor.
Feel free to write to me at camille -at- greenparty.ca.
Japanese imperial flag… interesting choice
That particular flag is part of the appearance issues I refer to… must figure out how to change the banner images!
I love the design – really nice.
Congrats.
Now enlighten us !!
Bradford
I like the plane the best.
Very nice blog!
Congrats! Keep up the good work!
Good luck with your campaign, you have my vote!
When we move to a sustainable economy we will have to do everything a little differently. Like I mean everything. If there is anything at onlinenap.ning.com like the free enviro course, or the various theories on economics or initial address, please use them as your own. Whatever works. We just may have to create a new way of becoming prime minister.
Best wishes
