Introducing Green Bloggers – the most comprehensive list of Greens who blog!
I’m excited to announce that fellow blogger Dave Bagler and I have started up a new Green blog aggregator, aptly named Green Bloggers. Green Bloggers promises to be a one-stop shop for all your info on what’s up in the Green blogosphere, and currently has the most comprehensive list of Green blogs of any site out there.
It’s exciting to have a new resource for those searching out Green blogs. There’s another blog aggregator that some of us had been using, but unfortunately, its moderators began censoring its membership — based (just a wild guess) on how well they like the content of certain blogs. They deleted my blog about a week ago on the basis that it strayed too far from the site’s mandate of “Independent commentary on Green politics in Canada.” This isn’t very believable since the bulk of my posts are about Green politics, and since a number of the other bloggers they do list don’t even write about the Green Party and/or politics. At any rate, for the sake of openness, inclusiveness and diversity of opinion, it became necessary to start up Green Bloggers.
If you know of any blogging Greens who should be listed, please let us know, or submit your blog on the site. Green Bloggers does not exist to censor commentary, but is designed as a resource to compile what is being said by Greens online. If you’re a Green, if you blog, and if you blog at least occasionally about Green issues, please sign up. It would be great to eventually have Green Bloggers badges that member blogs can include on their sites. If you have any clue how to do such a thing, or have other ideas, let us know!
