About Camille Labchuk

camille-labchuk1Welcome to my website. In this space, I write about a few of my main interests — the Green Party, Canadian politics, the environment and animal issues. That said, I’m a news junkie, I try to stay involved in my community, and I love food, so don’t be surprised if you encounter a more-than-occasional post on any current media story, what’s up in my neck of the woods, or my latest culinary exploit.

I currently represent Ontario on the Green Party’s Federal Council. Before this, I worked as leader Elizabeth May’s press secretary for several years, and ran for Parliament in 2006. One of my top priorities at this time is helping prepare the Green Party to elect MPs in the next federal election.

I study law at the University of Toronto, and spend my (increasingly limited) spare time working on the issues I care about, and exploring the vegan culinary scene in my city. Feel free to drop me a line if you want to discuss anything you read here, especially if you want to learn more about Green Party Federal Council activites: camille -at- greenparty.ca
